A well-written specification sheet includes materials, dimensions, tolerances, finishes, packaging, testing requirements, and acceptable quality levels. The practical approach is layered protection: (1) patent registration in China, (2) split production across multiple factories, (3) keep critical components in-house or source separately, (4) use brand registration and anti-counterfeiting labels. No single method is foolproof, but the combination creates enough barriers to deter all but the most determined copiers.
