FDA registration is mandatory for food and medical devices to the US. Food contact materials also need compliance. Registration requires annual renewal — forgetting can mean customs detention.

SABER certification is now required for Saudi Arabia. Products need both Product Certificate of Conformity and Shipment Certificate of Conformity. Without these, goods cannot clear Saudi customs.
